Year 8 HASS
There aren't any lions or tigers, but there certainly are bears... polar bears! Students in Miss Caputo's year 8 HASS class have created Tundra landscapes using a range of materials to represent various features of the biome. Tundra ecosystems are treeless regions found in the Arctic where climate is cold and rainfall is scarce - even less than a desert! Students created their Tundra diagrams and noted key features through verbal presentations; and even topped off their creation with plastic animals native to this region.
