Year 9 Science

In week 8, Miss Bor's year 9 students got to make ice-cream as a part of their chemical and physical change unit in Science. They had to follow a set of steps and use dry ice to make their ice-cream, and identify whether the change from a liquid to a solid was evidence of a chemical reaction. They have been learning about identifying chemical and physical changes in reactions. This task provided a hands-on opportunity to play with dry ice, and create a sweet treat!
