In week 8, year 7 Science students had their second session with Cindy from the Murraylands and Riverland Landscape Board, where they gained knowledge about native River Murray turtles. The session offered details on the significance of various turtle species and ways in which we can help to report their sightings in our area. At the conclusion of the session, students had the opportunity to interact with the turtles, small and large!
