This term year 8 students are learning about energy. They have participated in energy stations that included: mystery toys, Pelton wheel, hand-cranked generator, wind turbines, solar panels and commercial batteries. 

Students also experimented with cotton-reel cars. Once they solved how it works, they then had to try to improve how far it could travel by changing the size and thickness of the rubber bands.
