Last week we welcomed 100 Year 7’s for a series of transition lessons. Our Year 7’s had the opportunity to engage in a variety of lessons including Art, Home Economics, Physical Education, Music and Drumbeat, STEM and Digital Media that were developed and facilitated by the transition team comprising of both the Primary and High School teachers.

Our staff were very impressed by the positive and confident interactions the Year 7s had with members of our school. I’d like to say a big thank you to the teachers involved in delivering the transition lessons and to the students who came along with enthusiasm and respect.

We are all looking forward to getting to know the students as they continue through the transition process. In the coming weeks, we will visit the Primary Schools with former students to talk with the Year 7s about their Renmark High School experience.
