Riverland Volleyball

Knockout Cup Volleyball
Congratulations to the Open Boys Knock Out Cup Volleyball who had a comfortable win against Loxton High School on Wednesday. Unfortunately after a tough battle, the Open Girls were defeated. The boys will now compete in the finals later this term. All the best.
The Year 8/9 boys and girls will travel down to the MARS Sporting Complex on Tuesday of week 10 with the winner of the round robin moving through to the finals.
Melbourne Volleyball (Week 8, Term 4)
Deposits and the code of conduct form should be in. Teams will continue to train during lunch with coaches to identify another suitable time (before or after school).
School Sport SA Cross Country
Congratulations and all the best to Taj Saatze, Baily White and Isabella Cant on being selected for the SA Cross Country team. The group will take off on Friday (week 5) to compete in NSW, against runners from across Australia. All of the hard work and dedication has paid off. Enjoy the experience.
School Sport SA Swimming
Earlier this term Dylan travelled to Melbourne as part of the School Sport SA Swimming team. Dylan had a very successful start to the year at the many school events (RHS Interschool and Adelaide swimming) and for Renmark Vitor Swimming Club.
Dylan juggled his other commitments (Football with West Adelaide and Renmark) to ensure he was getting enough training in before the event. Dylan finished 4th in the 50m Freestyle heats and in the final he finished 6th (6th in Australia). He then backed this up and finished 14th in the 50m Butterfly.
Congratulations Dylan and we look forward to seeing you have continued success in 2020.
