Year 11 and 12 French
Galette des Rois
Year 11 and 12 French students participated in the tradition of the 'Galette des Rois' (King's Cake) this week. Celebrated in France during the month of January, its origin is can be traced back to the 13th Century in France. Inside one slice of the 'galette' is a 'fève' or charm which brings good luck to the recipient who is crowned 'king' for the day. This year the winner was Fletcher who then chose Meegan to be queen. Bon Appétit!
