SAASTA ACE Week

2.jpg
Last week our year 10 SAASTA students have been in Adelaide learning about different careers and Aboriginal businesses. They completed an 'Amazing Race' around the city learning about significant cultural sites and Aboriginal businesses. ACE will support Aboriginal students to be successful on their pathway to becoming ‘Work Ready’, providing opportunities to learn directly from employers about work and identify skills that are valued in the workplace.
Through participation in industry/employer immersion and work readiness training, students will participate in culturally responsive experiences which provide a stronger understanding of pathways through vocational training and towards employment and/or further education.
Students were also able to meet SA First Nations Voice Leader Dale Agius and he had a great chat our students about being positive role models and leaders in the community. A great experience!
