World's Greatest Shave
The Renmark High School World's Greatest Shave team have been having fun over the past few weeks in preparation for today’s events under the COLA.
It was great to see many students and staff be involved in many ways:
- Last Monday, sisters Maddalyn S and Chelsea S cut their long hair into a lovely bob, kindly chopped by Mrs Dunn.
- Ms Hersey bleached her hair last week, and dyed it a beautiful pink, before shaving it off today.
- Mr Young and Mr Branford shaved their beards.
- Students Lachlan K, Rex K, and Dylan D shaved their heads while Alana Y and Kayleigh S had a significant chop.
- And finally, Mrs Dunn who is the World’s Greatest Shave team captain, shaved her head!
A huge thank you to Vincent and Tahlia from Invictus Barber Lounge for volunteering their time today. Thank you to Mr Ward and the very talented school band for providing the entertainment. Well done and thank you to the students from Home Economics who helped prepare the baked goods to sell, and our SRC committee for their hospitality with the BBQ and drinks. So far staff and students have raised over $4000!
