Australian Business Week
Well done to all year 11 students who participated in Australian Business Week in the last week of term 2. Australian Business Week allows students to experience real world adult experiences and learn vital business, workplace and life skills at the same time. Students stepped into management roles to run an established virtual company and were set tasks during the week.
Tasks included:
Assign roles; CEO, General Marketing, Finance, Operations Complete case studies Write a company report Create a product, process or service Give an oral presentation Produce a video commercial Mount a trade display Write a company report Dressing appropriately for your workplaceEach group showcased their trade display to staff, students, parents and caregivers in Ruston STEM followed by an end of term assembly and ABW presentations.
