On Monday our SAASTA Connect students met with experts from the Murraylands and Riverland Landscape Board in Berri to talk about the carpet python and its importance to the local area. The students learnt about the declining number of carpet pythons in the region, and ways First Nations people can help support identifying this important species. Students were also able to hold a carpet python for the first time!
