Renmark High School

PRINCIPAL'S ADDRESS

World Teachers' Day

With World Teachers' Day being celebrated this Friday, I would like to take the opportunity to publically recognise the dedicated teachers we have at Renmark High School and their commitment to improving outcomes for students. Teaching is a demanding profession that requires not only in-depth knowledge of subject content but also how to teach it! Our teachers use their many varied skills such as patience, leadership, creativity, innovation, organisation, preparation, and technology enthusiast to name just a few. So on behalf of the Renmark High School…. thank you teachers, your efforts are appreciated!

Spring Carnival Thanks

Thank you to all of the staff, students and parents who put together an outstanding contribution to ensure the Spring Carnival on Friday night was such a success.  A very special thank you to the organisational efforts of the Student Representative Council, and staff members (in particular Marina Pater, Biljana Elliott, Melek Demir, Karina Lambert, Tracey Chapman and Sonja Modlinksi) who worked tirelessly behind the scenes.  A huge thank you to our sponsors who contributed to our event, we appreciate your support.

Thank you SRC students for your hard work setting up the event and cleaning up afterwards - another example of your committment to your school.

It was great to see the families and community members who came along to support students and their school, and to enjoy a family friendly night out.

After much investigation of the many options available, we are now ready to launch a Bring Your Own Device option ready for 2020!  Essentially we have 4 options (including a Mac) that are school recommended and that parents can buy outright (or through a payment plan).  For more information we have a parent night in the library on Tuesday 5th November 5:30-7pm where a representative from Edunet will be here to present and answer parent questions.
