There is a number of current job opportunities available in the local area.

Employers often contact the school seeking suitable candidates for varied positions. Sometimes these jobs are full time but can also be part time or school based apprenticeships where younger students can mix school and work. Many employers are looking for students to undertake a “gap year” program as well as the many “vintage” type jobs that work through until March which is timely for university students. Many of these businesses have an online application process for students to check out.

Keryn Van Dyk form the Career Development Centre continues to support senior students every Wednesday with career planning, job applications and resume writing. Appointments can be made at the front desk in the Senior Study space.

Chris Marks will also return to school soon to meet with students who are interested in school based apprenticeship opportunities.
