Students are currently exploring separation techniques in science. They are engaging in experiments focused on solubility, decanting, and filtering. For the final task, students mixed dirt with water and allowed it to settle until sediment formed at the bottom of the beaker. They then decanted and filtered the mixture to see how clean they could make the water.
