Year 8 students are currently exploring energy this term in Science. Last Wednesday, Mrs Dunn’s and Ms Blanden’s class used the schools STELR kits; STEM equipment designed to allow students hands-on experiences with renewable energy technology. The students investigated sources such as solar, wind, hydro, and battery power, and how each transfer and transform energy. Mr Branford’s year 11 (Stage 1) Physics class also joined in and helped set up a number of stations and explain the results to the junior classes.
