Renmark High School

100 Year Centenary Celebrations

CENTENARY CELEBRATIONS DINNER ?
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for the Renmark High School Centenary Dinner last Friday night. It was a truly memorable evening, filled with laughter, reminiscing, and the joy of reconnecting with old friends while forging new connections within our school community.
A sincere thank you to former student, Pat Mickan, for delivering a keynote speech that inspired and resonated with us all. We would also like to recognise and thank Anthony Gerace for his outstanding role as Master of Ceremonies (MC).
With 300 people in attendance, it was great to see so many past and present students, staff, and families together in celebration and a powerful reminder of our rich history and shared achievements over the past 100 years. The stories, photos, and speeches made it an inspiring occasion, and we are so grateful to everyone who contributed to making the night so special.
CENTENARY CELEBRATIONS - OPEN DAY ?
Thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday for our centenary Open Day. It was wonderful to see our community come together to reflect on a century of education, proud achievements, and shared memories.
Guests enjoyed guided tours of Renmark High School by our Student Representative Council (SRC) members, explored fascinating memorabilia in the Elaine Balfour-Ogilvy Library, and listened to stories that shaped Renmark High School over the years. The Acknowledgement of Country, official welcome, and centenary cake cutting were true highlights, and the friendly rivalry between Team Scott and Team Stano in the volleyball match added great excitement later on in the morning in our Mickan Gym.
Our central courtyard was buzzing with conversation over morning tea, with thanks to our home economics students and Little Miss Daisy pop up caravan. Many took home a special memento by pre-ordering or purchasing our Centenary Book.
We are grateful to all our past and present students, staff, families, and friends who help make Renmark High School such a special place, thank you all for your support!
