On Wednesday of week 7, 8 girls from years 11 and 12 headed down to Adelaide to participate in the Senior Girls Knockout Cup Volleyball finals held at Brighton High School. The girls got off to a flying start by beating Hallet Cove on a count back after the match finished 1 set all. We were then brought crashing down to earth with defeats against superior Brighton and Heathfield teams. The final game of the day saw us play Loxton for third place, where the girls put in a strong performance to defeat their local counterparts 2 sets to 1. Congratulations to all of the girls who participated on the day. Finishing as the 3^rd best senior girls volleyball team in the state is quite the achievement.
