STEM SCHOLARSHIP
Year 11 student Kira Watts has been successful in her application for a Department for Education STEM Scholarship. The scholarship is designed to support students who wish to study and pursue a career in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) related fields. The funding will provide significant financial support towards mentoring, tutoring costs, textbooks, relevant excursions and laptops throughout years 11 and 12. On Tuesday the 16th of February, Kira attended an award ceremony and information session held at the University of Adelaide with other successful applicants from across the state.
Kira’s application demonstrated that she is a worthy recipient. She is a passionate, dedicated student who shows a natural curiosity toward all of her studies. We wish her all the best across the next two years of study with us at Renmark High School and her future studies.
