In Week 3, all our Year 8 students travelled to Camp Kedron for the Year 8 Camp. The experience is a positive way for students to begin secondary school, get to know their teachers and make new friends. During the camp, students participated in aquatics activities at Lake Bonney Yacht Club, where they had the opportunity to try a number of water based sports including wind surfing, canoeing and sailing. One of the highlights was seeing so many of our students get up on skis and try knee boarding.

When at the campsite, students participated in Care Group activities focused around building relationships with their peers. Care Group teachers all led activities which included, volleyball, sports day ball games, art, a STEM scavenger hunt and building activity and a walk.
