ANGOVES WINERY VISIT

Year 10 Agriculture students visited Angoves Winery this week. With senior winemaker Mr Paul Kernich. Students looked at the various processes involved in wine making including crushing, fermentation, bottling and the labelling of wine. Paul described the OHS requirements of the wine industry and shared his knowledge in technological advances in wine making. Impressed by the enthusiasm shown by the Renmark High students, he generously answered a wide range of questions around wine making in general and pontential work experience opportunities for students at the winery. A huge thank you to Angoves Winery and Paul Kernich who give us unprecedented access to the processes involved in the making of wine. A great learning opportunity greatly appreciated by our students.
