PASTORAL CARE REPORT
Hi everybody! So much has been happening over the last few weeks, what an exciting time it has been. So, I will start with the Year 8 Aquatics Camp. Firstly, the weather was absolutely the best the Riverland could offer, not too hot and not too cold, although a little bit windy at times. The camp was one of the best I have attended (and I have been to a few), with all the students interacting so well with each other.
One of the highlights for me was being out with the students water skiing. There was one young lad, Blake who had never ever skied before and he just got straight up and off he went. I could not believe what I was seeing! The instructor (Sue) and I just looked at each other in awe! Following success from other students in the group, Blake was keen to have a go on one ski. First attemp, up and he was away and he didn’t fall off. I think he fell in love with skiing then and there.
Sue and I were just rapt and I said to her that our students are all truly talented each in their own way.
We have a diverse group of young people here at Renmark High who I believe, will make a make our world a better place. Thank you for the privilege of being a small part of it all.
Keep smiling and let's applaud our young people in all they do. Cheers, Pammy.
