On Wednesday students from the Senior Learning Hub spent some time in the Home Economics kitchen cooking. Students identified a desire to make something from scratch and then took some of the extra product home. Student Support Officer Brett Blackwell found a recipe for sausage rolls which proved popular. All students participated in the process including grating fresh vegetables (and some fingers!), mixing the ingredients, preparing baking trays and rolling and glazing the sausage rolls. They were very pleased with the finished product and enjoyed the opportunity to take some home.
