8 Visual Artists

Last term, our year 8 Visual Arts students explored their identity by listening to Uncle Barney talk about his childhood and the connection Indigenous people have with the land and the environment that surrounds us. Students then reflected on their childhood and their memories of the environment and animals that surround them. Learning about various clay manipulating techniques and use of clay tools, students created an animal out of clay that is connected to their childhood memories.
