On Tuesday 26th March a group of Stage 2 Visual Arts and Digital Media students travelled to Adelaide to visit the SACE Art Show and the Jam Factory Art Gallery. The SACE Art Show showcases the best Art and Design pieces from the 2018 Stage 2 Visual Art and Design students. The collection of works this year was extremely impressive and our students gained great inspiration from the folios and final practicals on display. Students then visited the Jam Factory which comprises an art gallery, retail shop and studios for glass, ceramic, furniture and jewellery artists. We received a guided tour through the studios where we were able to view the artworks of the many talented artists that practise at the Jam Factory. We were fortunate enough to also view the glass blowing process. The tour provided students with a clear understanding and appreciation of the processes each artist follows to create their individual artworks.

Former RHS Digital Media Student’s Career Success

Molly Gibbons, a former Renmark High student who completed her secondary schooling at Renmark High School in 2018, has received an Internship at Vogue Magazine in Sydney. Molly moved to Sydney over a month ago and was recently interviewed for the internship position. She credits some of her success in obtaining this great opportunity to her year 12 Digital Media folio which she presented at her interview with Vogue. We congratulate Molly on this amazing achievement.
