Year 8 Science

As part of their study of igneous rocks, students conducted an investigation to test the effect of changing the rate of cooling of a solution on the size of crystals formed. They made predictions about the effect of cooling on crystal size and tested this prediction in a fair test. Students analysed their results and demonstrated their knowledge through recording of observations, diagrams, and a scientific conclusion.
