This week in Science, Year 7 students have been learning about safety rules in the laboratory. During this lesson, the students successfully earnt their Bunsen burner license. 

They were able to:

-set up the apparatus correctly

-safely light a Bunsen burner

-change between the safety and heating flame

-heat liquid in a test tube

-turn off the Bunsen burner from the gas taps.
