As an introduction to Science, Mr Blackwell’s class got the opportunity to operate Bunsen burners. While these can reach a temperature of 1,500^o C, they are a safe and effective piece of equipment used by scientists. One such application is to catalyse reactions, which is what they were successful in completing last week.
