RAINBOW SALAD

On Tuesday, 8th February the Year 7 Food Tech class experienced their first practical lesson, making a Rainbow Salad. Students were able to enjoy having a little mask free time whilst they worked outside and what gorgeous weather it was for it.

I made a Rainbow Salad containing tomatoes, lettuce, corn, beetroot, carrots, cucumber and dressing. A rainbow salad is a salad with vegetables of different colours. It was fun making the salad. Abdullah.

The skills I learnt were how to use a knife safely, how to be safe in the kitchen, how to dice tomatoes and other vegetables and how to make a dressing for the salad. Nakeisha

I enjoyed working independently while making a salad and I enjoyed working outside. Zoey.
