Dreaming Stories

Students have been creating their own dreaming stories in year 7 Drama which included sound effects, music and narration. Students created plays around storylines of ‘How flowers were created’, ‘How the kookaburra got its laugh,’ ‘How the turtle got its shell,’ and ‘How Uluru was made’.

The stories go from generation to generation. They are about laws, right and wrong, how to live and relationships.

 I learnt how to write a storyline and act it out.

I enjoyed acting and doing the play on stage.

You need to work as a team and be organised to put on a play.

I enjoyed learning about a different culture.
