Plant Based Foods- Fruit Crumble & Vegetarian Shepherd’s Pie
Year 9 Food Technology students have based their cooking practicals around plant based foods this term. They have learnt about what a plant based diet is, it's health benefits and the differences between vegetarians and vegans.
Over the past few weeks students have made a vegetarian shepherd’s pie as well as a fruit crumble topped with coconut cream and ice cream.
The students have enjoyed cooking and are always keen to try different types of foods.
