2022 RHS Sports Day

One of the highlights of the school calendar is the sports carnival which fortunately we were able to run on Friday of week 7. Even with students/families impacted by Covid, there was still plenty of colour, support, excitement, competition and sportsmanship across the day.

As always, there were many highlights, PB’s and individuals stepping up and assisting their house and captains to ensure as many events were filled. Regular score updates announced over the PA system highlighted that every single event was vital. The end result once again being determined by the last few relays.

Chaffey claimed the Championship Shield once again from an improved Sturt.

Congratulations to Bailey W and Phoebe H who both set new records along with students who just fell short.

Bailey W: U16 1500m – 4:27.06 (2022) – 24 year record

Phoebe H: U16 discus – 27.37m (2022) – 25 year record

Students had been training during their lunch breaks and were excited to represent Renmark High School at the Interschool Athletics event. Unfortunately this event has recently been cancelled.
