YEAR 9 FOOD TECHNOLOGY
Plant Based Foods Practical
The year 9 Food Tech class has continued to do well with their learning on plant based foods. Their task was to individually, plan, prepare and present a plant-based dish during the assessment practical lesson. Students came up with a variety of dishes they decided to cook. These included a vegetarian pizza and rosemary wedges with coconut yoghurt dip, vegan ravioli, vegetable fritters, smoothie bowls, lemon cakes, custard tarts and a mushroom carbonara. Students were creative with their ideas and thoroughly enjoyed cooking their own dishes.
