YEAR 9 - ART CLASS
Year 9 Posada in the 21st Century.
Posada was a political cartoonist working in the late 1800s in Mexico. He used skulls and skeletons to portray beliefs, daily lifestyles of popular groups, the abuses of government and the exploitation of the common people. The year 9 Visual Arts class have been inspired by Posada's work, creating something more relevant to the times.
