STEM Aboriginal Learners Congress

The theme for this year's STEM Aboriginal Learners Congress was ‘Cultural Innovators’, relating to and respecting the 60,000 - plus years of Aboriginal scientists, technologists, engineers and mathematicians. The two-day congress kicked off with a traditional Welcome to Country - welcoming learners to Kaurna Land. Four Renmark High School year 8 students spent the first session programming a robot to collect supplies from a ‘crater’. Students used their innovation and teamwork skills to achieve the goal. Have a look at their fantastic efforts!
